Noridian Medicare
At
this time, Noridian is awaiting all Practice/Provider
information from Palmetto GBA.
Recent
discussions with Noridian - Medicare,
regarding the takeover from Palmetto,
state that Provider information is being
loaded onto Noridians' Total On Boarding
system, in batches. Please review the
most recent email notification from Noridian
on Page 2.
What
You Should Do:
Within
the next two to four weeks, per Noridian,
as they receive the information from Palmetto
GBA, they suggest that providers contact
Nordian to verify their Practice and Provider
information. Noridian will be verifying
the accuracy of the information, and checking
if your information is current. When contacting
Noridian, please be prepared to provide
your Provider/Practice NPI/PTAN and TIN.
The

1-855-721-4184.
The
Noridian contact left will be open 6 a.m.
to 5 p.m. PT Monday through Friday.
At this
time, Prime Clinical Systems is awaiting
further direction from Noridian to complete
the programming changes required to bill
directly to Noridian. Once that information
is made available, we will be making any
necessary changes, notifying our clients
via email, and posting regular information
on our website www.primeclinical.com.

What
Department should I call with my questions?
(For All
Trading Partners)
EDISS is often asked what type of call
should be handled by our help desk compared
to other call lefts within Medicare, Medicaid
and other private lines of business. The
following examples are calls that should
be directed to the EDISS Help Desk:
•
Assist providers with Total OnBoarding (TOB)
to enroll EDI transactions and general
questions related to getting started with
EDISS.
•
Billing and Electronic Remittances
software support for PC-ACE Pro32, Medicare
Remit Easy Print (MREP)
and PC-Print.
•
Password resets for the Bulletin
Board System (BBS), TOB
or the Iowa Medicaid Web Portal.
•
Assistance with EDISS generated
error reports such as the TRNACK report,
999 report
and the 277CA report.
•
EDISS can assist with the ANSI location
(ex. loops and segments) where the correction
would need to be made in the electronic
format, but EDISS cannot advise on which
codes to use.
Specific
billing questions need to be inquired
at the respective payer Call left, and
then EDISS can assist with where it would
be corrected in the electronic format. If
you have received claim denials on a Electronic
Remittance Advice (ERA), you will need
to contact the payer for specific explanations
as EDISS only delivers the ERAs.
