Noridian EDI Production System Access
For All JE Submitters
EDI Support Services (EDISS) has sent out production faxes containing theSubmitter’s login ID and password information for all JE Submitters, if we were able to confirm contact information.
If you have not received your login ID and password information, contact EDISS to provide a contact name and fax number. You are able to connect to our gateway system via dial-up, network service vendor. A list of connectivity vendors can be found at http://www.edissweb.com/cgp/software/.
Top 5 JE EDI Calls
For All JE Submitters
· GS02 and GS03 (Medicare Part A and B): On the 277CA Acknowledgment report, the GS02 is currently reflecting the Submitter ID and the GS03 is currently reflecting the Payer ID. EDISS is working on determining a way to correct this so that the GS02 reflects the Payer ID and the GS03 reflects the Submitter ID.
· 1000A PER segment (Medicare Part B only): Per the Medicare Implementation Guide, the information contained in the 1000A PER segment and the 2010AA PER segment cannot be the same. If this information is the same, remove the information from the 2010AA PER segment. If this information is not removed it will cause a rejection on the 999 Acknowledgment report.
· ISA05 (Medicare Part A only): Per the Medicare edits the only indicators that should be sent in the ISA05 are the 27, 28 or ZZ. If claim files are sent with a 29 in the ISA05 segment they will reject.
· Incorrect login ID (Medicare Part A and B): Your login ID is similar to your submitter ID, but looks a little different. For example, if your submitter ID is bbb123456, your log in ID would be bbb123456@BBB123456.
· Password issues (Medicare Part A and B): You will need to follow these guidelines to ensure compliance with the EDI Gateway password requirements:
o Exactly eight characters in length
o At least one upper-case letter
o At least one lower-case letter
o At least one number
o At least one of these special characters: $ * - _
o This password is valid for 60 days.
o This password must be unique from anything used within the last 12 months or six generations.
Are you needing to make a change or addition to your current EDI Enrollment?
For All JE Submitters
As of August 30, 2013, JE Part B Submitters making any changes or additions to their EDI Enrollment will need to make the needed changes utilizing their Total OnBoarding (TOB) profile at https://noridian.totalonboarding.com.
If you were billing electronically through Palmetto previously, and you have not already taken over your TOB account, EDISS is asking that you contact us so that we may provide you with your 8-character authorization code. We would be happy to walk you through the TOB process.
