IMPORTANT PROGRAM MODIFICATIONS
The following Release Notes include the features and modifications made in the current update. PCS suggests you provide each department a copy of the Release Notes so they are aware of the changes which may affect their department.
In order to be aware of ALL changes in the software, please read all release notes from the version you are currently on through to the version to which you are updating.
Update may include items labeled ATTENTION which will IMMEDIATELY affect Billing and other daily tasks. Please be sure to notify all departments which will be affected.

Registration
NEW FIELD Registration --► Regular --►Patient and Miscellaneous --► HL7 --►ADT
Note: These changes affect any messages received in the Import folder, NOT the ADT created by Intellect and added to the HL7 folder.
Effective this version, a new pa_hl7_id field was added to hold the CLIENTS EMR ID/Number when messages are imported. This field is used to accommodate vendors who are sending HL7 messages and are unable to including the Intellect PA_ACCOUT in the PID-2. For this field to read in Intellect, a Patient Demo file must be provided from the EHR Vendor and loaded into OSI.
Management
FIX Management --► Analysis --►Misc --► RVU Report
In the 20.10.27 software version, when the RVU report by Provider or Clinic was selected and ‘Cash’ is part of the criteria, the port gave this exception:
‘java.sql.SQLSyntaxErrorException: ORA-00904: "TH"."TH_DAYS": invalid identifier.
As of 11/10/2020, a correction was made by programming.
FIX Management --► Track Productivity
In the 20.10.27 release, it was reported that the printed format of the Track Productivity Report had an issue in the amount of information on each page being very minimal and therefore creating a longer-than-necessary report. This has been corrected in this version.
Miscellaneous
MODIFICATION Miscellaneous --► Log_file Task --►Yearly
PCM users only. Effective in this release, the Log_file Task has been changed to YEARLY and set to Parallel. This is a PCM task: Archive PCM Log. The information in the current log_file is now copied to a log file named log_file+year (for example, LOG_FILE2020, highlighted in the example below) which allows the log_file to be cleared out since it was becoming too large. This task takes several hours to complete, so it is not recommended that the process be stopped (i.e., killed) before completion.
The information used in the task to archive is:

In the above task, the year displays as YEAR-1 which means the program archives the logfile for 1 year. This date can be set to today – 365 with the same result. The program reads all the dates with the date range specified and archives it.
