Known Issue:
Billing--►Worker--►HCFA Form -- <Print Attachment>
In this version there is a Known Issue where spaces in the printer name caused this feature not to work.
This problem was corrected in version 17.12.29.
Charges
FIX Charges--►Charge -- Anesthesia charges
In a prior software version, when posting an Anesthesia charge and the Utility--►Procedure--►Procedure <Stop for Insurance> field was set to ‘Y’, after entering the <Panel> and <From/Date> in the Charges--►Charge posting screen, the cursor was hanging at the <To> date field and not allowing the user to proceed.
In addition, when a user pressed [F2] in the <Stop for Insurance> field on the Utility--►Procedure--►Procedure screen, the wrong information displayed.
As of this release, both problems have been corrected. Note: the <Stop for Insurance> field was previously labeled <Put the Charge on Hold (Y/N)>.
NEW FIELD Billing--►Worker--►HCFA Form--►BOP and GOP -- <Print Attachment>
A <Print Attachment> field has been added to the Billing--►Worker--►HCFA Form screen:
When sending claims electronically and there is an attachment, this field gives users the choice of whether or not to print the documents/attachments at the same time they are doing the billing. This applies to documents/attachments that normally go electronically and are in the EB_ATTACHMENT folder, based on the <Identification Code> on the Charges--►Encounter screen for Workers Compensation claims.
The choices for this field are:
No: When 'No' is selected, documents/attachments will not print at the same time billing takes place.
Yes: When 'Yes' is selected, documents/attachments print at the same time billing takes place.
NEW OPTIONS Billing--►Follow Up--►BOP and GOP -- Date of Injury
As of this release, when a Follow Up Letter is requested via Billing--►Follow Up <Letter Code>, additional information displays on the Follow Up letters when a patient has a date of injury. The information is pulled from the system as follows:
• If the patient was registered under Registration/Worker and an Insurance exists, the <DOI> (and any additional existing DOI) on the Insurance screen print.
• If the patient is registered under Registration/Regular and an Encounter screen is populated with an <Injury Date> and the <Encounter #> is attached to the charge, the <Injury Date> on the Encounter screen prints.
Management
FIX Management--►Balance--►Balance -- <All/Patient/Insurance>
A 'Record not found' error was reported when generating the Balance Report by Provider. Programming changes have been made to correct this problem.
MODIFICATION Utility--►Insurance--►TeleCom -- L.A. Co. Mental Health billing
Effective October 2017, Electronic Billing changes were required for all Los Angeles County Mental Health billing. In the SVC line level, the new requirement is in the NTE 01, and the new qualifier of DCP must be used for all electronic claims. Please note:
Users have to set up the procedure as Anesthesia Status and, when posting, they have to use the minutes.
For the DCP qualifier to populate in the EB file and the EBP to be included in the file:
• The Utility--►Insurance--►Telecom <Special Requirement> must be 'L'.
• In Charges--►Charge, users must enter EBP in the <Comment> field on the J-option pop-up screen.
NEW FIELD Utility--►Tools--►Configuration -- <Twilio HTTP Type>
A <Twilio HTTP Type> field was added to ensure that all Intellect users are in compliance with the new HIPAA standards. Click on the field or press the [F2] key to display the valid choices:

HTTPS (Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure): HTTPS is protected/secure request/response protocol between your computer and the web server. HTTPS should be selected for transmission/receipt of confidential information.
If you select 'HTTPS':
• Your office must have a web domain name and renew your subscription for the domain name before its' expiration date.
• Your office must enter your domain address in the <External IP> field on the Utility--►Tools--► Configuration screen.
• Your office must have a current basic SSL certificate for IIS with 2048-bit encryption for the specified web domain name.
