Ledger
FIX Ledger--►Open Item--►Print
On previous versions of Ledger--►Open Item--►Print when only an adjustment was posted, the program was including the payment code instead of the adjustment code. As of this release, Ledger--►Open Item--►Print will now include an adjustment description along with a payment description. This fix is retroactive.
MODIFICATION Ledger--►Accounting andLedger--►Open Item <Operator> Field
Effective this release, the <Operator> field on the Ledger Remark screen was expanded from 4 digits to a maximum of 6 digits to allow users to add an operator code with more than 4-digits.
Utility
FIX Utility --►Set Up --►Parameter -- <Automatic HL7 Export>
It was found when the Utility--►Set Up--►Parameter <Automatic HL7 Export> field was set to ‘CUSTOMIZED PATIENT' or 'CUSTOMIZED BOTH' and a new patient was being registered, the program was not creating the ADT message. The issue was related to a condition which was missing from this program only for the customized options mentioned above. This issue has been corrected in this release.
NEW Schedule --►Appointment --►Full Day --►Appt. Booking/Mgmt --►Add Appt Dialog Box -- Patient Eye Questionnaire
Effective in prior software versions, Patient Demographic, Patient Insurance, and Patient Health History forms can be sent for review/correction to patients via an email with a link to their Demographic and/or Insurance information. Updated information is subsequently stored to the patient's Intellect and PCM records. As of this update, the Add Appointment screen also includes a Patient Eye Questionnaire form. See Patient Eye Questionnaire form samples.
Use the [☐ Patient Demographic] drop-down list at the bottom of the screen to select the form(s) to send to patients. For details, see the online documentation for the [☐ Patient Demographic] option.
As with the previous options, this new feature will save your team time and ensure accurate information. If your office wishes to add the Patient Eye Questionnaire option, one of our Support Team specialists will be happy to assist you and answer any questions.
NEW Misc--►View Sent Items
In this version of Intellect, when an item is sent via email to a patient, and the information is returned by the patient, Intellect now displays the information received from the patient on the Sent Items screen:
This modification affects these fields as follows:
• User Name now displays PATIENT when the item is returned by the patient.
• Subject now displays the item returned by the patient. In the example above, the returned information is 'Patient Information Questionnaire'.
• Comment now displays the patients' name when the item is returned.
• Status now displays RECEIVED when the item is received by the patient.

MODIFICATION Billing--►Tele Com--►Access Claim Report -- ICN Number
When claims are entered into the PAYER system, they are issued a tracking number known as the internal control number ('ICN'). The ICN is a 13-digit number assigned to each claim received by the PAYER. Effective this version, an 'ICN' column was added to the Access Claim Report so users may view the claim's ICN when the data is displayed on Intellect's screen.

Management
FIX Management--►Analysis--►Detail
In version 18.03.15 when sending the Financial Report from Management--►Analysis--►Detail, the report was not printing to the printer. Effective this release, the error has been corrected.
MODIFICATION Utility--►Set Up--►Parameter - <Hold Imported Charges>
In prior releases, all charges being imported using HL7 from an EHR program were held, based on the setting of the <Hold Import Charges> field. As of this release, the program works the same as the Charges--►Charge screen, allowing users to limit the held charges based on a single procedure. To accommodate this change, a fix was made when the Utility--►Set Up--►Parameter <Hold Imported Charges> field is not = 'Y' and FT1,17 in the HL7 file is not = ‘Y’. Additionally, the following conditions apply:
• Utility--►Procedure--►Procedure <Parties to Bill> = ‘C’ or Utility--►Category <Responsibility (G/P/X)> = 'G'
- OR -
• Utility--►Category <Responsibility (G/P/X)> = 'X' and Registration--►Regular--► Patient--►Patient Insurance <Assignment> = 'N'
NEW Schedule--►Appointment--►Full Day -- Progress Notes
PCM users only. Effective this release, Intellects' Full Day Appointment, Appointment List tab, Waiting List tab, and Surgery tab allow users to view the current days' progress notes entered into PCM for the current days' appointment.
To see the current progress notes from PCM while in Intellect, users must select a patient in the Appointment screen and right-click to choose the option ‘Patient Chart’. Clicking on ‘Patient Chart’ displays the patients' current documents attached to the appointment from PCM.
Clicking on a ‘Document Type’ displays all documents as they are in PCM for the current appointment. For example, clicking on the '2 sigs and tx plan' document shown above opens:
