Reports Programmed for Excel Import

Excel spreadsheets are used for data in columnar form. Because Intellect reports have headings, date printed and printed by, and many have sub-total lines, not all reports can automatically be imported into Excel. PCS has done additional programming for many of the reports which have sub-totals so they may be imported into Excel.

On the following chart, an X in the Programmed for Excel import indicates that the report works with Excel. An X in the Not Programmed for Excel Import indicates that the report does not work in Excel. Note: Some reports that have not been programmed to work in Excel work to some degree, as indicated by the additional chart notations defined below:

* In Intellect, some reports separate the information by a provider (i.e., clinic, provider, etc.) but in Excel all of the information is grouped together. For example, in Intellect, the Detail Procedure by Provider report has a page break and subtotals between each Provider's information and has a heading identifying the Provider for whom the report is generated. In Excel, the Detail Procedure by Provider report does not have identifying headers nor does it have a break or subtotals between Providers.

~ The specific types of reports listed here are indicative of multiple types and combinations of reports from the indicated option. If a specific report has been programmed/has not been programmed from this option, it is likely that the other specific types of reports follow suit.

+ There are no page breaks, but column headings are inserted in the body of the report.
