Using Saved Schedules on the iPhone
Problem:
When Schedules are saved to disk they are saved with a .dat file extension and cannot be opened on an iPhone.
Solution:
Go to the folder where the files are saved and do the following:
1. Go to the Tools folder.
2. Click on the View tab.
3. Uncheck the Hide Extensions for Known File Types and then click on OK. The file extension at the end of every file on your computer displays.
4. Change/rename the extension of your .DAT file to .JPG, .PNG, .DOC, .XLS, or .AVI, and then rename the file to a .txt extension.
The file should now open. If the file still does not open, please contact PCS support.
