Internet Faxing
Interfax.net is no longer used by Prime Clinical. Please see Faxage for information on sending faxes via the internet.
What Is Internet Faxing?
Internet Faxing is a process where faxes may be sent using an internet fax service provider instead of using a modem and phone line. Faxes may be sent by email or through the web.
NOTE: International faxing is not available at this time through Intellect.
Before using this feature, the system needs to be set up as follows:
1. Enroll with interfax.net.
Pricing information may be obtained directly from interfax.net. Note: Mention that you are a client of Prime Clinical to get a special discount.

Because of their security features, interfax.net is the only third-party vendor approved by Prime Clinical Systems. Interfax.net offers private faxing straight to email, SSL-encrypted faxing through the web interface, password protection, and HIPAA compliance.
2. When enrollment is complete, Fax.com provides the office with login and password information. This information is needed in steps 3.2 and 3.3 below.
3. Go to the Modify CONFIG screen at Utility --►Tools --►Configuration and fill in the following fields as indicated:
3.1 Fax Provider 
3.1.1 Select InterFax from the drop-down list.
3.2.1 Enter the vendor-assigned login/user name.
3.3.1 Enter the vendor-assigned password.
